Poster presentation

To each poster it will be assigned a space with a total area of 2.38 m (high) by 0.95 m (wide), on the top of which a code number appears, indicating exhibition placement and poster identification. Pins will be provided to fix the poster. Authors must be in the neighborhood of their poster during the scheduled session-time, in order to answer questions about their work.

Schedule

Group 1 (P1): Tuesday, 21 September 2010, 3-5 pm
Group 2 (P2): Wednesday, 22 September 2010, 3-5 pm

Mounting 

Posters should be fixed at least one hour before scheduled time and be removed within half an hour after session ending.

Suggestions for the poster presentation
The poster should be legible at a 2m distance and its content should be understandable without the need of an oral explanation. Heading should be 12cm high and as wide as the poster itself; it should include title, author names and affiliations written with a 2.5 cm high font, abstract. Figure distribution, tables and text should be balanced so as to avoid overloading the poster presentation.

Each poster must include additionally an abstract in English


Manuscript Submission

Prospective authors attending RIAO-OPTILAS 2010 are invited to submit an expanded version of their papers for publication in Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS). This is an online, open-access journal from the prestigious Institute of Physics Publishing House (IOP). Each contribution will be peer reviewed through a process administered by the Editorial Board of the conference’s volume of JPCS. The length of the articles is unrestricted*.

The papers should be directly submitted to the organizers of RIAO-OPTILAS 2010 as a PDF file
(e-mail to: riao-optilas@pucp.edu.pe with subject: proceedings).

Full paper due: 10 October 2010

Acceptance notice: 9 November 2010

PDF file in final form due: 15 November 2010

*Accepted papers will be published in accordance with the Proceedings Publication License (see attached document), which leaves the copyright in the paper with the author and allows re-written and extended versions of a paper to be published in another journal.
