Maria Margallo Blanco graduated in 2007 in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cantabria, Spain. Subsequently, she obtained the title of industrial technical engineer in chemical engineering and a master's degree in chemical engineering and sustainable consumption from the University of Cantabria.
It is in this University where he develops a large part of his doctoral academic training, with brief stays at the Rovira and Virgili University of Tarragona (Spain) and at PE International and the University of Stuttgart. During this stage he combined his doctoral studies with various research projects with the Ministry of the Environment and the Pomeu Fabra University of Barcelona. In 2014 she obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the UC with an international mention and an extraordinary doctorate award.
