Doctor of Science. The line of research in which She works is Solid waste, the research work is carried out with financing from CONACYT, government agencies and the private sector, including SEMARNAT, INE and Mundo Sustentable. As a result of these investigations, She has undertaken various actions for the improvement and conservation of the environment, among which She highlights the work She is doing in conjunction with the City of Mexicali, in the program “Niños Supervisores de Limpia”. Participates in networks both internationally and nationally, is an active member of the International Network of Integrated Solid Waste Management (REDIGIRS), whose headquarters are in Argentina, a founding member of the Latin American Solid Waste Management Network (GRAL Network), is a leader in Mexico of the Iberoamerican Network of Environmental Sanitation Engineering (REDISA), president of the Mexican Society of Science and Technology Applied to Solid Waste, is currently part of the technical group coordinated by CENICA-INE-SEMARNAT on modification and updating of NMX's about waste.
